What’s included in a subscription? 

Each Story Bound subscription - for kids, adults, or young adult readers, contains 1-2 books per month, a coloring sheet or fun sticker, and/or a note explaining why we chose that book for you! 


What if I don’t like the book selection and/or already have it? 

Unfortunately, we will not be accepting returns if you already have the book/don’t like the book selection. If this occurs, pass the book to a friend in need of their next read!  


When do subscriptions ship? 

Our subscriptions close on the last day of each month, and we then get to work preparing and shipping! You can expect an email as soon as packages are sent through the mail, usually between the 1-7th of the month.


When do subscriptions renew? 

Our subscriptions renew on the 11th of the month for the upcoming month. So, you will see a charge on May 11 for your June subscription, and June 11 for July, etc.


Who curates the subscriptions? 

Our wonderful book buyers, Elizabeth and Avery, as well as our managers all help to put the very best books in your hands each month.


Will my subscription renew automatically? 

Yes. If you do not cancel your subscription before the 11th of every month, your subscription will continue to renew automatically.


What if I want to cancel my subscription? 

You can pause or cancel your subscription any time! Please note that if you cancel after the 11th, we will ship your final box the following month. If you have purchased a one-time gift, it will not automatically renew. To pause or cancel a subscription log into your customer account and choose the option that best fits what you need.


How do I purchase a gift subscription for someone else? 


On the checkout page, you'll see an option to check off the box for "This is a gift". Here, you can enter the gift recipient's full name, recipient's email address, and a personalized gift message. You can also select if you want the subscription to renew or not.

Can I subscribe to more than one option? 


Yes! Please be sure to check that your boxes are each marked with the address to which you want them shipped, if you are purchasing for multiple people.

What if I want to change my delivery address or contact information?


You can change anything about your subscription by logging in your account. When can I expect my subscription to arrive? We ship all our subscriptions between the 1-7th of each month, depending on book release dates! We do our best to ensure that books are in your hands within the first week or so! 


What about contact/trigger warnings? 


Every book is chosen with the most sensitive readers in mind, and we are hopeful that you will be delighted in every selection. *If you are concerned about this matter, however, we would love to recommend a one-time Booklover Box, which will allow you to screen the books before they are sent - check it out here!
